And all these eyes, they gaze at her with lust.
But are all these suitors truly worthy?
She stands there rising above mountains,
oceans and highways. Up above, the dark
clouds part way for her to pass through.
Far from the bright sun, her presence
simply spreads serenity.
I envy the stars that have her accompanied,
for I wish I could only be a little closer.
She's not a trophy for one to mount on a mantle,
yet she throws herself away to be one.
She's not a choice to make or keep,
She's precious, a queen of the skies
with stardust in her eyes.
She yearns for a happy ending but
throws away the kind of affection I wish to shower her with.
And if I could, I'd wish to be the only one who presses my lips
gently against her fingertips.
Oh fates I beg your pardon for the ironies,
but she's the kind that's got tender delicacies
with scars hidden visibly.
