The Art of Deception: Illusions

Illusion; When applied to literature, an illusion can be a narrative technique, such as a dream, vision, or other device that misleads, confuses, or tricks a character. In reality it refers to a state or condition of being deceived; misapprehension.

Sometimes, you tend to keep people in an illusion by telling them the things they wish to hear just to make them happy. But I guess keeping the ones you love or anyone for that matter in an illusion can be both the best and the worst thing you can ever do to them.
