I take a deep breath, and in my mind, I spoke to myself.

“Down came she, crumbling in my arms.

She fell to her knees and I caught her breaking apart.

All she needed was Someone to Stay by her side.

She was filled with Chaos. And in the beauty

of The chaos that she consisted, I was,

Truly, Purely, Honestly and Apologetically,

so In love.”

We mend broken things that do not belong to us

and create beautiful beginnings

but isn't it cruel for those creations to tear us apart

just for us to be mended by someone else

to whom we do not belong?

Is it fair for them to bear an ache to which they don't own any blame?

Or does the fault remain in ours to fix what was broken in the first place?
